REGULATORY LAWYER. 3 + PQE, LONDON/ HYBRID, 6 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT, £70 000 - £75 000 per annum. A truly exceptional opportunity has arisen with a thriving organisation in the regulatory sector. JOB TITLE:       Regulatory Lawyer – 6 month FTC
LOCATION:      London / Hybrid - minimum 4 days per month in the office
EXPERIENCE:  3 + years’
SALARY:          £70 000 - £75 000 per annum

This role would see the post holder playing a pivotal role during a period of change, undertaking a thorough review of current procedures and enhancing them to provide greater efficiency and effectiveness.

• This role reports into a divisional director who will be providing support in implementation of new ideas and processes, and managing change with key personnel.

•Your day-to-day responsibilities will include supporting the team to make solid and consistent decisions and assisting with the drafting of new processes and procedures to drive the team to greater achievements.

• Your previous expertise will have been gained as a Solicitor or Barrister in a regulatory organisation and will have included handling high volume case work and providing robust decisions in response to complaints against professionals.

• The appointed Lawyer will have gained some experience in managing a team, including performance management, and utilising KPIs to drive efficiency. It will also be helpful to have prior experience in handling challenges to decisions in the form of appeals and judicial review.

• A collaborative and forward thinking approach will be essential. You will be entitled to hold a full practising certificate in England and Wales to be considered for this role.
