A wonderful school in Hackney are looking for a qualified HLTA to come in to start from Monday 20th May. The position would be helping out with and often leading the Nursery class alongside other Teaching Assistants.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team at a vibrant and diverse primary school in Hackney. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting classroom teachers and ensuring the smooth running of the school.
Responsibilities:

• Provide support to teachers in planning, delivering and assessing lessons
• Lead small group interventions and support students with additional needs
• Manage behavior and maintain a positive learning environment
• Support the development of literacy and numeracy skills
• Assist with the preparation of learning resources
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the holistic development of all students

Requirements:

• HLTA qualification or equivalent
• Experience working in a primary school setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to promoting the welfare of children
• A positive and proactive attitude towards supporting student learning and development
