Nicole Moss has returned from the World Karate and Kickboxing Association (W.K.A) world championships victorious. The 12 year-old from Shawbirch, Telford picked up one gold and two silver medals in the competition, which was held in Germany last month.
Nicole who trains at Maddogs martial arts in Stoke-on-Trent and attends Charlton school in Wellington, received sponsorship from local recruitment company Pertemps who are located in Central Square, to take part in the contest.
This was the second time that Nicole had taken part in the championships and saw her improve on the previous years achievements where she walked away with two silvers and a bronze.
Nicole who started kickboxing at the age of six and had gained her black belt by the age of 10 said of her success: “ I had a brilliant time in Germany and am really pleased that I improved on last year. I am now looking forward to my next challenge of representing Great Britain at the World Association of Kickboxing Organisations (WAKO) European championships in Italy this month.”
