PERTEMPS RECEIVES STAR STATUS

Best Companies has awarded Pertemps a ‘Star Status’ following an in-depth national survey that was carried out over 100,000 employees from 434 organisations from across UK.

Pertemps have been presented with a One Star Status alongside 273 other companies in the UK.
107 Organisations achieved a Two Star Status and 42 received a Three Star Status. The Star Status accreditation standard, similar to restaurant and hotel ratings, awards businesses one, two or three stars according to whether their practices are first-class, outstanding or extraordinary.

The survey was completed by a random selection of Pertemps employees and was compiled using 70 rigorously tested questions. The accreditation scheme measures eight key factors, from wellbeing, personal growth and how staff feel about company leadership, colleagues and managers, to how much they feel their firm puts back into the local community.

Jonathan Austin, Chief Executive of Best Companies said: “Pertemps 2007 accreditation is an outstanding achievement. It confirms their commitment to the on-going journey of workplace engagement. Our role is to set a rigorous benchmark so that organisations can become even better employers.”

Michelle White and Kent Thompson were invited to London to collect the award on behalf of Pertemps. Michelle White, Pertemps Director said: “It is fantastic news that we have been recognised with the One Star Status. We look forward to receiving the survey results in order for us to continue to improve on our employee programme and hopefully next year obtain a Three Star Status!”
