PNG climbs top 10 to become highest placed recruiter
Pertemps Network Group (PNG) is the highest-placed recruiter in this year’s Sunday Times Grant Thornton Top Track 250 – at number 2!
The annual league table ranks Britain’s private mid-market growth companies with the biggest sales.
With a 2015 turnover of £614m, Pertemps Network Group leapt from 11th place to number 2 in the charts with only first-placed health club operator Virgin Active recording better sales in the same year.
The 250 companies achieved combined sales of £58.1bn, a 14% increase year-on-year, profits of £4.9bn, up 26%,and an 11% growth to a total of 354,000 people.
Seven of the top 10 companies with biggest profits are headquartered outside of London – including PNG which is based in Warwickshire - and the southeast of England.
The league table and awards programme is sponsored by Grant Thornton, and compiled year by Fast Track, the Oxford-based research and networking events firm.
