Assembly Operatives

Pertemps West Bromwich are currently recruiting for Assembly Operatives for our prestigious, leading client based in the Wednesbury area.

As an Assembly Operative, you will play a crucial role in the production of the bespoke products, ensuring that they meet quality standards.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):
-Assemble components to complete products according to engineering drawings and specifications
-Use hand tools, power tools and air tools as well as other equipment to complete assembly tasks
-Inspect parts and finished products for defects, ensuring all products meet quality standards
-Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
-Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines

Requirements:
-Must be able to pass a basic DBS check
-Previous experience using hand, power, and air tools
-Proficient in reading and using a tape measure is essential
-Ability to read drawings and specifications
-Excellent communication skills
-Team player
-Excellent punctuality

Hours of Work:
Monday - Friday
8am - 16:30pm

Pay Rate:
£11.44 per hour

This is a temporary position with a view to go permanent after a successful trial period.
