As the Commodities Account Manager you will be responsible for managing all distribution sales of commodity products and services in a defined geographic area to collaborate with businesses to market the brand with an impressive product portfolio that is vast and varied.
- Identify and develop new customers within the specified geographic area.
- Ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenue through effective planning and development of current and new accounts.
- Collaborate with the Director of Commodities to establish realistic sales goals for the area.
- Manage the assigned geographic sales area to maximise sales revenues.
- Improve short and long term sales , creating value for the business and the companies supply chain
- Conduct regular visits to the customer base and maintain visit reports.
- Accurately forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly sales for the specified area.
- Develop specific plans to ensure sales growth of all company products in the area.
- Extensive liaison with the Marketing team in regards to activity and future development plans
- Improving the Business Brand to maximise revenue
- Promote the client's brand across the specified geographical area.
Key Skills - Degree educated in a relevant subject or equivalent experience.
- Previous sales experience preferred.
- Driven and determined
- Socially Mobile
- Strong Negotiation skills
- Ability to build good business relationships
