Job Title: Logistics Administrator
 
Location: Carlisle, UK
 
Salary: £24,150 per annum
Please note: This is a temp to perm position and will become a permanent role with the client after a successful qualifying period.

Our client, a leading logistics company based in Carlisle, is currently looking for a motivated Logistics Administrator to join their dynamic team. Shift Pattern:
4 on 4 off rotational shift pattern
Shift timings: 06:00 - 18:00 / 18:00 - 06:00
Responsibilities:
Coordinate logistics operations effectively during scheduled shifts, ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials.
Manage inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling deliveries and overseeing transportation activities.
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and other relevant data using our client's systems.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve logistical issues and optimise processes.
Assist in inventory management tasks, including cycle counting, stock checks, and reconciliations.
Handle administrative duties such as data entry, report generation, and documentation.
Requirements:
Previous experience in logistics administration, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a shift-based environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Own transport required for commuting to and from work near Carlisle.
