Holiday Entitlement: Initially 22 days plus bank holidays, increasing to 25 days plus bank holidays.

Our well-established international shipping and logistics client, situated in South Liverpool, is currently in search of a meticulous and experienced Sea Freight Import Clerk. This pivotal role entails overseeing the import procedures originating from various global destinations. We offer a competitive basic salary of up to £30,000, coupled with a structured Monday to Friday work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing full end-to-end import procedures with precision and efficiency.
• Receiving, meticulously processing, and maintaining shipping documentation.
• Issuing timely notices of arrival and delivering accurate clearance instructions to clients.
• Engaging in seamless communication and collaboration with colleagues and clientele worldwide.
• Coordinating deliveries promptly and effectively as required.
• Facilitating the seamless processing of purchase orders and the accurate generation of invoices.
• Maintaining and updating internal systems to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.

Candidate Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of demonstrable experience in sea freight import operations.
• Exceptional customer service skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Strong organisational capabilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in computer skills, enabling effective navigation of digital platforms.
