Assistant Service Co-Ordinator


Permanent, Full Time, Romsey

Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm

Pertemps are working proudly of behalf of a leading plant supplier based in Romsey. We are looking for an Assistant Service Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis. The main purpose of the role will be to support the Services Manager in a busy plant services department.

Key duties will include:

- Processing Engineer Paperwork
- Engaging with current customers to book scheduled and break down services
- Ensuring job sheets are correct
- Raising order numbers in a timely manner
- Oversee pricing and ensuring information is correct to pass for payment
- Updating live database of inspections and managing engineers workload
- Some Excel work
- Scheduling Engineers
- Keep track of customer requirements to ensure that no work is missed
- Making outbound calls to customers, suppliers and staff as and when required
- General administration duties

Ideally the candidate will have:

- Have the ability to pick up bespoke systems quickly and be very IT literate
- Experience working in a Mechanical environment
- Some plant parts knowledge, though not essential
- Previously worked in a position where you are responsible for ordering parts/booking field engineers work
- Be able to provide high levels of customer service at all times
