Job Description

I'm working on behalf of a busy and growing client who due to expanding order books and new clients are now looking to recruit 2 mechanical fitters.

ROLE: MECHANICAL FITTER
SALARY: £11 PER HOUR
LOCATION: commutable from Wolverhampton, Telford, Walsall, Cannock, West Bromwich

Key Responsibilities.
* Assemble and test of a range of new and refurbished commercial and military projectsto engineering drawings and instructions.

The Person
* Trained/Qualified in a recognised mechanical/hydraulic engineering discipline
* Can demonstrate proven hands on knowledge in the building and repair of
equipment along with a good solid understanding of a range of assembly
techniques ranging from light bench work through to heavy fabrication.
* Able to work on own initiative to engineering drawings, hydraulic
schematics and instructions.
* Flexible attitude towards changing work requirements and travel.
* Have a good understanding of safe working practices.
Pipe fitting, machining or welding and fabrication skills would be advantageous
