Job Description

An excellent CNC programmer is required to work in a niche market environment within a large automotive firm, CAD work is also an essential part of this role.

I'm looking for a someone who can combine both and take on the responsibility for all machine related engineering from cradle to grave. You would be expected to follow the project from the design stage to actually machining the component and follow up by trying to implement continuous improvements.

Main Duties

* Emphasis on 3 and 5 axis CNC programming
* In depth knowledge of Alphacam
* Plan, Procure, install and comission fixtures, to include R and R studies.
* New Cutter Development
* Day to day process improvement
* Manage technical issues and escalate where appropriate

Apart from meeting the above you will be enthusiastic, pre-active, possess a can do attitude and have good inter personnel skills.
