Job summary

A client of Pertemps are currently recruiting for a creative and digitally minded individual to produce engaging content and communications to raise the profile of Sport & Fitness. To ensure the clients websites, social media, e-marketing and print materials hold engaging, relevant and current content.

Main duties


- Assist the PR Executive in identifying and gathering stories on an ongoing basis

- Write communications as necessary regarding the client's sports services and facilities to various markets across a wide range of channels including e-marketing

- Identify and write engaging content for publication across all media channels

- Develop and implement a sophisticated CRM strategy that utilises a multi-channel approach to engage customers

Website and SEO

- Regularly audit and update the new website, releasing new pages and events when appropriate as the business moves through pre-sale, launch and opening

- Create a strategic plan for updating content on the website

- Develop the SEO strategy for the use of keywords and implementing google adword campaigns

Blog Content

- Source, write and edit regular blog content which will help establish Fit Focus as the leading sport & fitness blog in the Midlands

- Create profiles on the Meet the Experts page for internal experts and guest bloggers

- Graduate or graduate level experience

- Experience of using content management systems for web editing and blogging

- Experience of e-mail marketing and using Email Service Providers

- Understanding of SEO and how to establish and develop an SEO strategy

- Eye for identifying potential blog content

- Excellent copy writing skills with impeccable spelling and grammar standards

- Excellent verbal skills and ability to build rapport with a wide range of people in order to encourage a good communication flow

- Good knowledge and keen interest in the sport and fitness industry

- Efficient and timely approach to meeting deadlines

- Ability to prioritise workload

- Excellent organisation skills
