Job Description

A small charity in central Birmingham are looking for a part time Administrator to work 18 hours per week, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday on a Fixed Term contract for 6 months, The charity was established in the 1930's and helps the elderly, organizations for the benefit of children.

The Responsibilities of the role

*Support the charity administrator dealing with telephone calls , correspondence and e mails on a daily basis

*Asses emergency applications, liase with refering bodies, write letters, arrange payments, maintain a registration process and receipt.

*Maintaining a filing system

To be sucessful in this role you must have worked as an administrator previously

*The ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion , tact and empathy

*Experience in working within a charity would be advantageous

*Excellent call handeling and communication skills both verbally and writen

The ideal candidate would have experience within a role where data protection or a DBS was needed to do your day to day role
