Creative Communications Manager
A vacancy has arisen in the marketing department for a Creative Communications Manager (CCM) reporting to the Mortgage and Savings Marketing Manager.
Upon receiving a detailed brief of key messages and objectives, the CCM will produce copy for product launches and scheduled marketing communications, PR, editorial and website copy, as well as ad-hoc projects including internal updates and announcements. They will follow a formal approvals procedure to ensure compliance requirements are met for all output, and provide a full proof reading service for all written materials produced by the marketing team and the wider business Savings Bank, CCFS.
The Creative Communications Manager will:
o Work with the Marketing and Products teams
o Create copy for advertising, email and social media campaign
o Provide copy for brochures and other collateral to support sales, product promotion, and broker education initiatives
o Produce copy for websites, being aware of SEO techniques to help improve traffic flow to the PM and CSB website
o Produce PR and editorial for press and media as required, presenting a professional image for an innovative, responsible lender in the specialist market
o Produce copy for key account websites to support our relationships with them
o Provide a full proof reading service for all written materials produced across the business to ensure a consistent tone-of-voice and professional presentation of the brand and its products at all times
o Produce ad-hoc communications on behalf of the senior management team for internal or external us
o Coordinate the approvals procedure for all output to ensure compliance and regulatory requirements are met.
The successful candidate will help to deliver the overall marketing strategy, present a proactive and enthusiastic approach, and provide help and support to all aspects of the marketing function.

o Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation
o Working knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint
An ability to manage several projects simultaneously without compromising quality or jeopardising deadlines is essential. Attention to detail must be to the highest standard, and proof reading and copywriting skills must be exceptional.
Qualifications & Experience:
o Degree in English as a minimum
o CIM qualified or Degree equivalent
o Experience in all elements of marketing
o Previous copy/creative writing experience within the financial services industry and regulatory environment.
The position attracts a competitive salary, and benefits including 25 days holiday, non-contributory cover for Life Assurance of up to 3 times basic salary, and a performance related bonus up to 20% of base salary, based upon achieving company budgets and targets.
