We are currently recruiting for an experienced Renewals Agent to join an independent insurance agent based in Brierley Hill, who provide the very best insurance solutions for specific business and property requirements. Offering a base salary between £16,000 - £20,000 dependent on experience. The purpose of the role is to retain business through a renewal process ensuring the best service is offered. Experience within Catering Insurance and/or Commercial Insurance is essential.

Duties will include:-

- Following the renewal process and adhere to renewal script - via phone, text and email
- Dealing with referrals and following up renewals across all classes of business
- Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining records and handling policy renewals
- Hit targets of 70% customer retention
- Follow up quotations in writing, keep in own diary and chase up
- Outbound and Inbound calling - acting as point of call for all renewal queries, maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Updating and maintaining the back office system
- Liaising with clients and insurers
- Update spreadsheets, assess data and utilise spreadsheets to track and chase renewals

The successful applicant will have the following skills:-

- Excellent communication skills - Ability to clearly communicate with people from all backgrounds
- Ability to extract information from customers and overcome objections
- Must be computer literate and competent with Microsoft Excel 
- Courteous, professional and persistent
- Proven track record in sales - Customer and sales focused
- Clear understanding of commercial insurance and catering insurance

Working hours & Salary:-

- 09.00 - 17.30 Monday - Friday
- No late nights or weekends
- Basic Salary £16,000-£20,000 dependent on experience

Suitable applicants will have a minimum of 12 months experience within Commercial Insurance and/or Catering Insurance.

The successful candidate will have experience within one or more of the following roles:- Renewals Executive, Renewals Agent, Renewals Advisor, Insurance Telesales Executive, Insurance Sales Agent
