Job Description

We are hugely excited to be recruiting a Part time Book keeper/Accountant for a business based in Bromsgrove.

This is a part time position with the flexibility to work over 5 full days with shorter hours or 3 full days.

The company are a software provider and have been established for over 30 years.

We need an experienced book keeper/Accountant with experience of managing a busy office.

The main duties will be:

" Full book keeping for 2 companies

" Dealing with all ledgers and credit control using Sage 50

" Pension and VAT responsibility

" Preparation of month end management accounts

" Providing support within the finance function covering a broad range of tasks and responsibilities in many aspects of financial and management accounting

" Forming and maintaining excellent relationships with key large customers in order to forecast when payments will be made and proactively resolving issues

" Responsible for cash management including full reconciliation

The candidate will have the following skills:

" Good team player with excellent communication skills

" Ability to meet tight deadlines

" More than 3 years experience of managing accounts within an organisation

" Strong client facing skills with excellent written and oral skills

" NVQ level 4 or AAT Technician level or equivalent

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced book keeper to work on a part time basis in prestigious offices in Bromsgrove
