Purchasing Administrator
Location : Redditch
8.00-8.50 per hour

We are looking to recruit an experienced administrator to support a busy purchasing and supplies department. The Purchasing Administrator will be responsible for managing a high volume supplies list. To be considered the ideal candidate will have excellent Excel skills as well as a high degree of accuracy. This role is 70% administration and 30% phone work. The role is being offered as a temporary assignment for 3-6 months on an ongoing basis and after 12 weeks the pay rate and holiday entitlement will be enhanced.

The Purchasing Assistant will be responsible for the following :

Managing and updating an extensive supplier database.
Inputting supplier information into Excel spreadsheets
Liaising and clarifying information within departments via telephone.
Contacting suppliers and querying information.

The Purchasing Assistant will have the following skills and experience.

Intermediate level Excel skills
Proven administration skills within a similar role.
Ability to work to dead-lines
Experience working in the NHS would be an advantage
