Datastore Project Manager

Bradford, West Yorkshire

£22,000 - £27,000 per annum + bonuses and excellent benefits package

Working for one of the UK's leading publishing services and marketing solutions companies, you will be reporting directly to the Research and Development Manager. Your time will be split between office based work, client site meetings and data capture within the retail environment.

The company offers their clients a full end to end project managed service whereby they visit a client's estate and collate data, images and store layouts, all of which are held in their 'datastore' online marketing database.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your project and account management skills and also utilise and develop your ability to manage complex workloads and business projects, within a very supportive team environment. Job Role of a Datastore Project Manager
" Build a knowledge base of clients existing data, processes and objectives in order to scope project requirements
" Develop client specific questionnaires to suit data capture requirements
" Creation detailed photographic briefing bibles to compliment the questionnaire for agency briefings
" Completion of test surveys in order to ensure questionnaires meet project objectives / requirements
" Design and build "Datastore" system to house all data and images collected
" Lead agency briefing sessions, whereby you are responsible for training the survey team and ensuring all parties are capable of completing the work
" Quality checking all agency/surveyor work in order to identify any issues or additional training needs and ensure immediate actions are put into place
" Provision of regular status updates in order to ensure effective communication of relevant project information to all parties
" Management of day to day operational aspects of project and scope
" Sets and manages clients and line managers expectations
" Creation and execution of project plans ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
" Resolution / escalation of issues and identification of solutions throughout project life cycle

The Datastore Project Manager will have:
" Proven project management experience for complex projects
" Ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines
" Outstanding organisational skills
" A commitment to providing excellent customer service
" High degree of computer literacy (excel is essential)
" Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
" A full driving license, the role will involve travel with occasional overnight stays.

Required Skills and Experience of the Datastore Project Manager

Beneficial but not essential (full training will be provided):
" Experience of retail environments and POS allocations
" Experience of retail surveys, data capture and database design would be beneficial .
