A leading company based in Ashby on the outskirts of Swadlincote are looking to recruit an experienced Finance/Payroll Administrator to join the business on a permanent basis.
The role is an all round Accounts position and the client are looking for candidates who can demonstrate experience and skills in VAT returns and Payroll.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Must have experience within an Accounts environment
Must have appropriate experience within Finance and particularly Payroll
Be highly competent in all MS office packages including Word, Excel, Outlook and Sage
Have an excellent telephone, email and face to face communication skills
Be highly organised and accurate with every task
Work calmly but effectively at speed and when under pressure
Be passionate and can notice and focus on the "little things" that make a difference
Happily work closely with the MD or independently when required
Work to deadlines and can observe confidentiality at all times
40 hours per week and you will need to be able to commit to working alternate Saturdays
The hours will be Monday Friday 9.00am 5.00pm, there will also be the occasional Saturday, when you work a Saturday you will take a day off in the week
The ideal person with have previous sage experience intermediate Excel skills, and be able to work to tight deadlines ensuring a good attention to details is applied at all times.
The company are offering a very competitive salary between 20,000pa - 25,000pa depending on skills and experience. Free parking on site. Working within a prestigious environment for a family owned business.
