A fantastic opportunity has become available to join a growing company based in Burton on Trent as a Marketing Assistant. My client is in the travel industry and are looking for someone to join their Digital Marketing team to work alongside the Digital Marketing Manager, you will be developing engaging promotions across e-marketing, website and social media platforms.

The role would suit a Marketing Graduate, and/or someone who has experience within a similar team and is now looking to take the next step in their career. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a creative individual to expand our marketing team and bring fresh and new ideas to the table.

You will have a key role and input in the company's marketing strategy. If you are a creative self-starter with an eye for finding unique approaches to promote the company's product range then we'd love to meet you!

Duties to include:

Develop a targeted approach to marketing campaigns

Working with social media channels on a day to day basis

Creating, uploading and maintaining online content for company web pages, product pages and social media pages including images, videos and descriptions.

Contribute to the marketing plans to drive forward agreed company objectives.

Ensure the brand ethos is maintained in all marketing material

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate and evidence the below competencies:

1 year experience of working in a similar marketing role or Graduate

Understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice

Good knowledge of Social Networking Sites and their use as a marketing tool.

Excellent written English

A background in the travel industry will be an advantage.

In return, a very competitive salary of 18,000 - 21,000 is offered, along with a contributory pension scheme, staff holiday incentive plan and an annual performance related bonus.
