My client is currently recruiting for a Sales Executive in the Coleshill area

My prestigious client, a global logistics company, provide services including the consolidation and forwarding of air or ocean freight, cargo, transportation, warehousing, distribution and customized logistics solutions. They are currently recruiting for a Sales Executive to join their team on a permanent basis. Within the role you will develop sales strategies to deliver joint value propositions across the sales team, whilst coordinating and leading joint sales activity between operations and sales representatives.

Main Responsibilities:

Sales based

Developing and maintaining CRM, and Leads Management

Industry market mapping

Competition market intelligence

Creating and verifying leads

Providing support, first class customer service

Support sales team in terms of arranging first face-to-face sales calls

Prepare sales bids and follow up on proposals timely

Preparation of Bids and Quotes

Sales Team support in timely bids management

Monitor sales opportunities by analyzing publicly available sources

Occasional Joint calls with Sales Team members

Maintain Expeditors Brand Identity integrity for all out-going documents

Customer Visits, Seminars/GLC's and Custimer Focus Group coordination

Weekly Sales Meeting prepare slides/presentation

Exceed Designate if applicable

Marketing Based

Promote any available marketing material and tools

Creating/ordering marketing materials (e.g. calendars, diaries, promotional items)

Perform additional duties assigned by management

Consolidate itineraries for foreign visitors and arrange site visits based on sponsors instructions

Competencies required:

6 months to 1 year related Sales/Marketing experience

Ability to execute task/job functions with limited oversight and direction

Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results

Strong geographical knowledge

Pro-active, strong organisational skills

Understanding of sales and marketing

Good computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
