Job Description

My client is looking for an experienced event marketing manager to join their busy management team. This is a stand alone role, so if you are a quirky, creative and expert of digital marketing this will be a great opportunity for you.

Duties will include:

- Create and implement the current marketing strategy, including assessing marketing goals and determining direction for the function

- Create and implement the businesses digital marketing strategy including SEO and content on the web to drive relevant traffic and conversions

- Develop and deliver central marketing strategy's from board level to sales

- Drive internal change through communication and marketing

- Create marketing plans for chosen events including customer research, data capture and analysis

- Work with the sales teams to expand marketing input and opportunities within sales initiatives

- Produce creative content including blogs, social media posts, images, infographics and writing copy in the short term, and provide direction and creative ideas in the medium to long term

- Manage the company's external marketing agencies including identifying, assessing and tendering specific agencies which meet the company's marketing criteria and aid in fulfilling strategy

- Safeguard and reinforce the external company brand, including setting employer branding goals and direction

- Recruit and manage further team members as the department develop

The Person:

To be successful, you will be self-motivated, possessing the following key skills and attributes: having a strategic mindset, being an effective communicator and able to convey ideas effectively.

- 3 years experience in marketing at management level including experience of policy and strategy building

- Knowledge of website development

- Ability to manage and build a brand presence through classical and online mediums

- Experience of driving and inspiring change internally through marketing and communication

- Manage all social media marketing channels

- Advanced IT Skills

- Experience of market research and analysis techniques to form strategic goals
