Job Description

Sheridan Maine are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a leading global business who are recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their small finance team in Andover.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the position will take full responsibility for the efficient running of the purchase ledger of the business. Key tasks include:

- Processing and inputting invoices.
- Running BACs and Cheque payments.
- Supplier statement reconciliations.
- Maintaining the payables cashbooks.
- Handling all purchase related queries.
- Month end reconciliations and reporting.

It is essential to have previous purchase ledger/ accounts payable experience to be considered for this position coupled with ERP knowledge such as SAP or Oracle. Good Excel skills are also required. The position will be for an ongoing temporary assignment and the client seek someone who has strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The company have free car parking onsite and flexible working hours which may suit an individual who is commuting from the local area.
