Finance Assistant, Southampton

This is a wonderful opportunity to join a well established Charity based in Southampton. This friendly organisation is keen to add a Finance Assistant to the team which would suit a hard working person who is looking for job satisfaction.
The Charity really makes a difference to people's lives and is accredited by the United Nations as a disability Charity. They have been providing life changing experiences for nearly 40 years.
The role of Finance Assistant will hold the following responsibilities.
- All aspects of the purchase ledger and sales Invoices.
- Banking monies and preparation of cheque lists.
- Preparation and reconciliation of intercompany journals.
- Assisting the Finance Manager with tasks as and when required.
The skills and experience required for the position of Finance Assistant include but are not limited to:
- Diligent with a strong attention to detail.
- Competent on Excel.
- Strong team work ethic.
- Adept at working to tight deadlines.
This role is permanent and full time but my client is open to part time hours on a pro-rata basis.
