Job Description

Pertemps are currently recruiting for Field Commissioning Engineers in the South West covering Gloucestershire, Bristol, Stroud, Swindon, Cirencester, Bath, Worcestershire, South Wales and surrounding areas.
This role will require a formal electrical qualification and working knowledge of BMS (Building Management Systems) and a valid driving licence. As a Commissioning Engineer you will receive a salary from 25,000- 35,000, dependent on experience, with company vehicle, phone, laptop, paid overtime, 25 days off plus bank holidays and a business related yearly bonus. We are looking for engineers with core skills such as strong interpersonal skills, good IT and numeracy skills and who are customer focused, proactive, have good problem solving skills and the ability to work with others.
Detailed applicable knowledge of a broad range of HVAC plant and systems would be beneficial as you will be required to demonstrate a professional, proficient and confident attitude to customers and their representatives and training will be provided in line with company values and products. Our client provides sustainable, energy efficient, environmental control systems for commercial and industrial clients within the Heating and Ventilation sector.

The Commissioning Engineer role will entail working with the Project Engineer to see projects through to completion. You will be carrying out work tasks in line with project method statements and risk assessments, complying with companies and clients health and safety policies at all times and you will be planning, commissioning and setting work whilst liaising, managing and auditing sub-contractors during the completion of their contracted works packages, to meet the requirements of set project programmes.

The ability to design, programme and successfully implement graphic user packages and to accurately record and update control panel drawings and system descriptions is a must and you will need to create, amend and test control systems software strategies in line with client's needs and overall project requirements.

You should ideally have excellent working knowledge of Siemens X-Works and Desigo Insight with knowledge of PRIVA BLUE ID/HX and Sauter. Computer literacy is essential with a good understanding of IT systems and networking.
