Warehouse Manager, Wrexham
||£25000 per annum
We are currently recruiting for a company who is a leader in their field is looking for a highly motivated Warehouse manager, capable of organising and leading a team in a fast paced and stimulating environment, working on the outskirts of Wrexham.
¢ Responsibility for the day to day management and motivation of the dept team
o to deliver the Unit's objectives by effectively directing the workforce
o To manage project initiative within the dept to a satisfactory result
o Responsibility for directing the departments audit programme and ensuring that all necessary corrective actions are actioned and delivered as demanded for stock accuracy
o Responsibility for the ongoing development and training of all operatives under their control and ensuring that any needs, identified on an ongoing basis, are delivered
o Responsible for setting and maintaining KPI of Health and Safety, Quality, on time in full delivery, Cost and Customer Service
¢ Responsibility for optimising the effectiveness of the Unit's resource
o through the effective interpretation of management information
o Develop a continuous improvement culture focusing on cost down
o Recommend/propose capital purchases that will improve the process
o Ensure all product documentation collated and available to show order status
Management of Information
¢ Responsibility for the ongoing development and continual improvement of operational performance
o Manage financial information to allow optimum transparency of the departments activities.
o Using the systems available report daily on the dept progress
o Prepare weekly summaries of the department's progress, Quality, production progress, efficiencies, attendance and manning level and project progress if any.
o Prepare a monthly report (no later than the 3rd working day after the month end)
o Responsible for the preparation of all paperwork for Shipping/despatch
¢ Experience in people management
¢ Must have experience in creating shipping and despatch documentation
¢ Knowledge of import and export legislation/documentation
¢ Good knowledge of Microsoft office package
¢ Experience in stock management
