Central London

Salary: 40,000 to 50,000 plus excellent benefits package including:

This is a new role within a pivotal newly created procurement team of 3 working across our client's prestigious property portfolio. Our client is looking for tenacious and engaging people who can bring knowledge of Procurement within a Property Management, Retail or relevant TFM environment.

We are looking for:

an energetic buyer who has been working within a hard FM procurement environment for a minimum of 3 years
someone with strong commercial understanding of the FM market and current trends for optimising best value
a confident person able to develop good working relationships with customers and suppliers at all levels both within and outside the organisation

You will be responsible for undertaking procurement sourcing projects on behalf of the site based teams as part of the agreed procurement roll out plan. You will ensure that Procurement support is aligned to the structure, objectives and culture of this function and so be an essential piece of their business plans, objectives and deliverables.

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the following;
Ideally degree or CIPS qualified
Strong commercial, sourcing, category management and negotiation skills
Ability to implement change and respond rapidly to the changing needs of the business
Able to build and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders
Customer Service focussed
Analytical and numerically literate
Ability to work to tight deadlines to ensure business continuity
Excellent communication skills with strong written and presentation skills
Supplier Management and risk management experience
Experience of working in multi-location, multi-stakeholder environment is essential
Possess sufficient strength of character to drive through and manage change.
Proven experience of sourcing complex and multi-location Hard/Soft FM contracts
Previous exposure to working in a retail or service charge environment (desirable, but not essential)
Persuades and achieves co-operation of others
