Purchase Ledger Assistant, Carisbrooke
||£15000 per annum
Pertemps are currently looking for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join a large business situated here on the Isle of Wight. This particular role is on a fixed term, which is based on full time hours, Monday to Friday. The successful individual will have previous experience within purchase ledger and be confident working with Excel; needless to say strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail are essential for the role.
o Receiving invoices by post or email and distributing these where necessary
o Inputting approved invoices onto purchase ledger in Sage; maintaining speed & accuracy
o Preparation of bank payments for the twice monthly payment run
o Inputting expense claims and credit card transactions
o Recording payment in a timely manner
o Management and reconciliation of petty cash
o Filing of invoices and other administration tasks as required
o Ability to work speedily and accurately in a high pressure environment
o Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
o Working knowledge of Mac would be an advantage, but is not essential
o Self motivated
o Able to work to tight deadlines
o Work under your own initiative as well as within a team
