We are recruiting Warehouse Team Leaders who can help ensure the continual improvement of this high performing department.




40 hours per week on a two shift rotating system. Early shift: 0600 - 1430 late shift: 1400 2230 including occasional weekends


22,963 p.a.

Job Role:

To perform key operational activities within the warehouse across the complete supply chain: receipt of inbound goods, inventory checking, counting and recording, manufacturing of stock items, order picking, packing and wrapping and customer dispatch. The job involves the use of light plant machinery.

The Warehouse shift leader must adhere to all safety and compliance regulations and policies whilst operating within the warehouse and safeguard the safety of those around them.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurate recording of all inventory items within required timeframes using systems provided

Receipting inbound goods, checking them against the Purchase Orders, taking samples and recording them

Operating manufacturing machinery to produce products

Storing goods in the warehouse and accurately recording the location of each inventory item

Performing some maintenance on plant machinery

Processing and fulfilling customer orders. picking, packing and wrapping items securely onto pallets

Updating systems and paper based records

Identifying any issues or risks and resolving them where possible

Monitoring daily stock levels, reporting any damages or discrepancies

Ensuring all workplace health and safety requirements are in place and monitored

Assisting collecting customers with loading

Be thorough and professional at all times

Storing stock items in the correct conditions

controlling the company returns process

Train and coach new and current warehouse staff

Support the management team as required

To ensure a smooth handover for the next shift

Essential Skills:

Previous team leading experience

Warehouse experience

Natural team player

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Strong customer focus

IT literate

Desirable Skills:

Counterbalance and/or Flexi forklift licence holder

IOSH qualification
