Job Description

A local authority are looking for an experienced administrator to work within their Child Protection team, they will be asked to provide a wide range of administrative and financial tasks to support Child Protection team.

The Ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills as they will be require to speak to parents, proffesional and internal departments.

Main Duties

To provide administrative support to Child protection team.

Maintain computerised and manual information systems, to support service delivery

To provide a professional, friendly and efficient point of contact to service users and other callers

To ensure all incoming correspondence is dealt with effectively

To undertake word processing, photocopying, filing etc. as required

To carry out reception duties as required.

To take notes and produce minutes of meetings.

Handle and process manual or computerised information, with care, accuracy, confidentiality and security.

Process financial documents and data in an accurate and timely manner

Any other duties as may be appropriate to achieve the objectives of the post or to assist the Directorate in the fulfilment of its objectives, commensurate with the post holders grade, abilities and aptitude

37 hours monday - Friday

role is for 6 weeks
