Job Description

We're looking for several Customer Service Advisors to join our Home Emergency team in Cardiff; focussing on first response claims handling.

This is an extremely varied role with lots of scope to progress into a full claims handler role within the company; and you'll be working in a friendly team that contributes to an excellent office atmosphere in our spacious offices in the heart of Cardiff.

We have been providing our clients third party administration (TPA) services for over a decade. We deliver our services 365 days of the year. In the UK alone we manage over 154,000 claims, including those affected by home or motor damage and theft.

In this role you`ll get to understand how weather perils, theft and accidents can affect people, and with our help and expertise you`ll guide the policy holder through the initial first steps of their claim, inform then what happens next and start the journey of each claim so that it can be progressed by your colleagues. You`ll be taking calls from policy holders who`ve recently experienced home emergencies, such as escape of water, accidental damage or theft, so it`s vital you`ll be able to act in calm and methodical manner as you`ll be the first point of contact for them.

Once you`ve established the incident, you`ll collate all the information to enable the claims process to proceed and capture all of the information on our database. Additionally, you`ll deal with each call using empathy and understanding to ensure that valued policy holders have the utmost customer service satisfaction when helping in settling their claim.

Once you`re established within your field, we`ll also support your career by offering exam sponsorship and the potential to progress within the company.

Required Experience;

? Previous experience in Property Claims Handling is essential - ideally within Home Emergency or FNOL

? Superb Customer Services skills and proven experience in this regard

? Excellent telephone manner

? Strong communication skills - both written and oral

? Accurate keyboard skills

? IT literacy
