This could be the start of something bigger than you expect. Here at Lloyds Banking Group, we're striving to be the best bank for customers. Our goal is to help Britain prosper. As a Customer Adviser, you'll have a role that matters, helping customers build for their future.

Your role

Joining our friendly contact centre team, you'll take calls from all kinds of people. Whatever the customer query, you'll make all the difference. More than just a voice at the end of the phone, you'll be there for customers every step of the way.

Your development

Make sure our telephone banking works brilliantly for customers and your hard work will be recognised. You see, this is more than just a job. It's an opportunity to build something amazing for your own future. We'll give you all the support and training you need to develop valuable skills and knowledge, take on new challenges and move your career forward.

Apprentice Options available

We believe having a diverse workforce makes us stronger. So we're keen to offer you a choice. Whether this will be your first job, or you're simply looking for a change of direction or a fresh start, we'd like to give you the opportunity to turn this role into an apprenticeship. That means you'd enjoy some excellent extra training and support, and alongside your daily duties, you would work towards a recognised Level 2 qualification in Providing Financial Services (equivalent to five GCSEs at grades A - C). Alternatively, you might decide an apprenticeship is not for you - if so, you'll still get to enjoy one of the most rewarding roles in customer service and build the future you want. The decision is yours, both options are available to you!

What you'll need

We recruit all kinds of people, of all backgrounds, ages and interests. You don't need experience of customer service, but you do need to be passionate about doing a great job for customers. Crucially, you'll demonstrate willingness to learn and the ability to respond to customer requests in a way that's efficient, friendly and helpful. Good at communicating on the phone, and a great listener, you're ready to relate to all sorts of people and provide the information they need.

Your reward

In return for your dedication we offer flexible shifts to suit your lifestyle and commitments. You'll also enjoy a generous holiday allowance and a wide range of benefits including a quarterly performance bonus, 22 days' holiday, a contributory pension scheme and private medical insurance. What's more, we offer a flexible package that allows you to pick from a range of options including retail discount vouchers.

Please note that the salary quoted is based on working a full-time 35 hour working week, the salary will be pro-rated against the part-time hours.
