Job Description

My client has it's UK Head Office in Farnborough and is one of the popular prestigious car brands globally with one being features on the Amazon Grand Tour recently.

They are looking for a customer focused Collections Advisor to join the team as it's the quality of the customer experience that counts for your targets. You will need to undergo a Credit Check if offered the position.

The role involves customers who are struggling with repayments on their loans. The focus on this role is customer service, and quality of communications. Targets are focused only on quality, rather than financial recovery.

Due to this, we are looking for candidates with excellent customer service experience. Ideally, this will involve telephone experience, but candidates with face to face only will not be discounted.

Being able to demonstrate instances where complaints or difficult conversations have been handled in previous roles will be highly advantageous.

Full training will be offered in this role. This will include class room based learning, before being coached in the working environment. Live calls will not be experienced until the team manager is comfortable that the person is ready.

Communication skills are at the forefront of this role. Candidates must have the confidence to ask more questions, and gather as much information as possible, sometimes under pressure from the customer.

Candidates are to have a really good communication style, as they will be dealing with and at times investigating people who have missed repayments on their car loans. They need to be calm, reassuring, and measured, and need to have the intelligence to ask the right questions, and record and report on this information when they have gathered it.

You will need at least Grade 'C' in both English and Maths and experience in a customer focused role with excellent telephone skills.

There are two main shifts which are alternated with regular overtime available

Early shift is Mon to Fri 08.30 - 16.45

Late shift is Mon to Fri 09.45 - 18.00

You will be expected to work 1 in 4 Saturday mornings
