The position of 'Assistant to Office and Quality Manager' provides essential administration support to the Office Manager who reports directly to the CEO and Director of International Operations within this international pharmaceutical organisation.
This is a critical hire for the business therefore the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent COMMUNICATION SKILLS, proficiency in MS OFFICE PACKAGES, a PROFESSIONAL AND ENTHUSIASTIC ATTITUDE and a strong ability to ORGANISE, MULTITASK, PRIORITISE and WORK UNDER PRESSURE.
You will be joining a small and very hands-on team so it is essential that you can demonstrate an ability to be RESOURCEFUL and PROACTIVE in dealing with issues that may arise, enjoy team-working and have a FRIENDLY and HELPFUL demeanour.
The business is currently undertaking a Phase 3 clinical study prior to international submission to regulatory agencies for permission to market its products, so you will need to have excellent ATTENTION TO DETAIL as the role will involve accurately entering CRITICAL DATA relating to the submission of research and also printing, filing and logging all scientific journals and papers.
You will provide a PROFESSIONAL and EFFICIENT FRONT OF HOUSE SERVICE - greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing visitors appropriately as well as answering, screening and forwarding any incoming phone calls,
You will also be responsible for fulfilling a variety of administrative duties including typing of memos, letters and reports using MS WORD, updating the filing system, photocopying and preparing of reports, DIARY MANAGEMENT, TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS and updating PRESENTATIONS on MS PowerPoint.
Other varied duties may arise as required by the business so we are really looking for someone who also has a "roll-your-sleeves-up" attitude and bags of common-sense!
