Job Description

Void Surveyor - We are looking to recruit a Void Surveyor for a Swindon based company, this is a temporary position for up to 6 months, paying £10.89 per hour.

You will be responsible for the repair of any empty homes and relet quickly in accordance with the Vacant Property Relet Standard, ensuring all outgoing tenants understand the standard the property is to be left and any costs that may be recharged to the tenant and a comprehensive and accurate specification of works that clearly communicates to the contractor the refurbishment works required.


The successful candidate will have knowledge of construction methods for housing, as well as planning and building regulation legislation. You would also have an understanding of the housing void property reletting process.

The successful candidate will have HNC in Construction or equivalent experience or housing qualification. You will also be required to hold a Current Driving License due to the nature of the travel involved in the role.
