We have several opportunities to teach part time on a one to one (1:1) basis in Harlow Essex.

The Education Network is looking for qualified primary and secondary teachers to work One to One (1:1) part time in Harlow. We have part time work across all key stages (KS1, KS2, KS3 and KS4.

JOB TITLE: 1:1 Part time Teacher



SALARY: 75.00 per session (3 hours) per day.

LONG TERM SESSIONAL: Primary & Secondary work for QTS or QTLS teachers

KEY STAGES: Working 1:1 with a Year 5 Student.


Works nationally with young people who are facing difficulties in accessing education. They deliver individual bespoke educational packages tailored to each child's individual needs.

You could be working with children in care, children excluded from mainstream schools, underachievers, children unable to access mainstream education, children who require managed and supported transfers/transitions, and children with special education needs (SEND).

You will be given training and will be well supported by a local line manager and other professional to help young people progress.


This is a great opportunity to work part time contributing to the lives of children and students with Behavioural, Emotional or Social Difficulties (BESD), Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), Autism (ASD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and school refusers.

The aim is for each and every one of their pupils to experience a varied and diverse curriculum which is learned through tailoring the work to each student's individual needs.

The roles are sessional and the students are given anything from 15 to 25 hours tuition per week and there is some flexibility for you to choose between am and pm sessions and you are able to work as many sessions as you want.


The Education Network are looking to recruit one to one (1:1 ) Part time Teachers who holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teaching Learning and Skills Status (QTLS). You will need to have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships quickly with students and their families and have previous experience of working with this client base (SEN). You must be able to motivate and inspire reluctant and struggling students and build innovative and creative lesson. The ability to put together Individual Education Plans (IEP's) and to be able to differentiate work is essential. These roles are part time and due to the nature will not suit someone looking for a permanent role.
