JOB TITLE: Psychology Teacher

SALARY: 130 - 160 per day for a Long-Term Supply Position

KEY STAGES: Key Stage 3 (KS3), Key Stage 4 (KS4)

CONTRACT TYPE: Long Term Supply (2-3 days per week)

Our client school require an inspirational, well qualified and hardworking teacher of Psychology to join a successful, supportive and popular Social Psychology department with excellent facilities. You will deliver Psychology throughout Key Stages 4 and 5 so this role suits a teacher looking to teach A-Level classes. This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified Psychology teacher (NQT) as well as Psychology Teachers with more experience. The successful candidate will be a high calibre Psychology teacher with a drive to deliver the highest quality teaching and learning, contributing to our client school's students' educational experience. The ability to offer Sociology and Health and Social Care is advantageous for this role. The successful teacher will be required to cover an absence within the Social Psychology department up until the October half-term initially.


To be considered for this Psychology Teacher role, you will be required to hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a comparable teaching qualification from overseas that has been approved by NARIC. Teachers from the lifelong learning sector will also be considered for the role if they have completed their DTLLS qualification and successfully obtained QTLS. The successful Psychology Teacher will need to demonstrate their enthusiasm for Psychology and the role that education can play in developing respectful, well-rounded young adults.
