LOGISTICS OFFICE MANAGER - £28K - £29K - PERMANENT - FULL TIME POSITION
Our client, are a reputable and established Logistics Company who are based near Norwich.
This role is a crucial and important role to the Company dynamics and you will play a major part for the future.
Our current Logistics office comprises of 10 to 12 people dealing with all transactions including national, international and e-commerce orders, stock levels and Customs and Excise.
The role is varied, challenging and rewarding.
Manage overall operations of the logistics office, all processes and procedures on a day to day basis.
Manage, develop, lead by example, and motivate a team of 10 to 12 people
Strong communication skills, the ability to liaise with all departments regarding various different types of operations, processes, service levels, continuous improvement, KPI'S, deadlines, queries and the smooth running of the department.
You must be forward thinking, work strategically not day by day
Previous experience of dealing with the financial side of the department is desirable.
Previous transactional, Custom and Excise experience is also ideal but not essential
An essential element to this role is you are a professional and strong communicator as you will also be representing the company on face to face visits with clients.
Attend weekly and monthly meetings with both your team and management.
A strong decision maker, communicator, listener are three key skills to be successful in this role
