My client is a prestigious property company based in the heart of London. The company are currently looking for an experienced credit controller to join their dynamic finance team. Reporting directly into the AR Manager, the requirements of this position are as follows:

*Pursue all external and internal fee debt both by telephone and in writing

*Liaise with Brand and Legal teams on all pre-NOD's, NOD's (Notice of Default) and payment plans

*Perform analysis of payment plans

*Report on and analyse aged debts

*Assist in resolving disputed fees

*Assist with the affiliated query process

*Calculate, analyse and book Bad Debt Provision

*Analyse milestones for upfront fee payments and collect payments as and when they fall due

*Reconcile receivables and bad debt provision balance sheet accounts

*Perform payment history analysis by region / country, and on other terms as required

*Escalate large debt amounts / past due accounts to Contracts Manager

*Prepare Fee billing and accruals and pass on to billing team

*Prepare SOX checks against agreements

*Calculate quarterly WHT

*Prepare Revenue De-Recognition is applicable

*Assist with all statutory audit and group audit requirements

*Ensure established performance standards are met for Individual objectives, departmental objectives or assigned project deliverables

*Assess actual performance to ensure success and takes corrective actions

*Enforce policies and procedures in own work and supports the team to deliver to agreed standards

*Operate within prescribed budget parameters

*Provision of financial data to other departments as required

*Use financial systems/applications to enter data and/or process information

*Support financial system implementation projects including participation in the design, testing and deployment of the system

This role, which will start immediately requires a progressive credit/AR professional who can get to grips with the position quickly and is keen to grow their skill set within the credit and AR remits.
