If you are a talented and experienced Chef De Partie looking for a challenge then this is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a highly motivated and experienced chef team at Heathrow Airport. This role will give you the chance to build a strong working network whilst working in a professional environment where you will also gain new culinary skills.
As a Chef De Partie you will be responsible for:
Preparation of vegetables etc. (maison en plus)
Working on different stations (prep, hot starter, cold starter, mains and dessert)
Working to a structure in the kitchen environment
Supporting the kitchen team with tasks
Maintaining quality hygiene standards within the production areas at all times
Ensuring that the kitchen is running effectively and meals are prepared on time and to the highest standards
Working in a fast paced kitchen and work to set meal and portion plans
We would like to hear from individuals that have experience as chef, chef assistant, station chef, line cook, demi chef, chef de partie, commis chef, trainee chef, sous chef, continental cook, junior sous chef, executive sous chef, kitchen executive, kitchen supervisor, prep cook, job captain, banqueting chef.
To be considered for the role of Sous Chef:
2 years or more as a Chef De Partie
Experience of working in a high volume catering environment.
Demonstrate an ability to problem solve in a kitchen.
Experience within a hotel, restaurant, banqueting, contract catering, cruise liner or similar environment would be desirable
Be able to commute easily and reside within travelling distance of London Heathrow Airport
You will be required to provide a five-year checkable history and a criminal record check as part of the interview proces.s
