Senior HR Manager

Chelmsford Base (London 2 days per week)

Up to 80,000 per annum benefits

A well established, growing financial services firm based in London City Centre with offices across the South of England are looking to recruit a Senior HR Manager to support 2 of their key revenue generating Business Units. With over 2000 employees globally, this firm are a true market leader in their field, investing heavily in the development of their staff.

You will be responsible for providing a professional, commercial and comprehensive HR service to your business unit through the pro active delivery of a value add HR strategy. Working closely with the Head of HR and the wider HR team, you will be responsible for ensuring enhanced business performance through the implementation of an effective and comprehensive people plan.

Key responsibilities:

To work in conjunction with the wider HR team to operationally deliver on the people agenda

To provide support in relation to change management, OD, restructuring and integration activity

Take the lead on all Organisational Development activity, looking at upskilling and progressing the work force and wider HR team

Manage headcount planning and recruitment activity within your particular business unit

Manage a small team, taking responsibility for their personal and professional development

Be responsible for global mobility within your specific Business Unit

Assisting with and covering all ad hoc HR projects as and when required including the HR Systems Integration project

In order to be considered for this position you must:

Have previous experience in a generalist HR Manager/Head of HR role within a fast paced, financial or professional services organisation

Be innovative, commercial and proactive with your approach to HR

Have excellent employee relations knowledge

Be comfortable advising on succession planning, talent mapping and development initiatives within an organisation

Be a good relationship builder and be a confident influencer at all levels
