Reward and Benefits Consultant
Salary negotiable depending on experience
To support the Head of Reward to develop the overarching reward strategy for the business, ensuring that it is cost effective, market competitive, performance based and transparent, with the overarching purpose of attracting, retaining and motivating colleagues.
To provide efficient effective administrative support relating to pay and benefits.
To respond to colleagues queries, advising on Reward and Benefits policies and practices
To review and analyse data where necessary to support recommended changes linked to reward or benefit practices and any legislation changes that may impact colleagues or the reward agenda.
To manage the monthly processes relating to the Flexible Benefits Platform and Car Salary Sacrifice, including payroll processing where necessary.
To lead and support with the annual implementation of the new Flexible Benefits Platform, working with the companies legal and tax functions and external suppliers including payroll.
To lead the annual benefit renewals processes, ensuring data submissions are accurate and where further information may be required, conduct comprehensive reviews are completed.
To support reward and benefits specific administrative activities across the HR colleague lifecycle.
To provide proactive advice and support on pensions, reward and benefits issues, including liaison with third parties, to ensure that reward and benefits are consistently managed across the company and in accordance with company policy
To support specific projects relating to reward and benefits.
To ensure that reward and benefit policies are maintained abs accurate including drafting and implementing new policies
To support the Head of Reward to deliver the annual bonus and pay review processes
To work with and support the Services Team Leader to ensure payroll processing is completed.
To manage and conduct job evaluation and benchmarking including maintaining the job evaluation database
To identify and deliver improvements which reduce costs and drive efficiency within the reward and benefits remit.
To ensure that the HR team, business and colleagues are aware of reward policies and processes through the provision of effective communications and tools
To support with HR projects affecting payroll and HR systems including P11d/PSA reporting and year end processing. Ensuring accuracy with reporting of benefits in kind.
Maintain colleague benefit records using the Benefits Administration System (internal databases and external hosted systems)
Provide reward and benefits administrative support for all benefits processes, including pensions and flexible benefits.
Provide a professional and effective response service to deal with colleague and manager benefits queries within agreed SLAs
Ensure benefits administration complies with all reward and benefits policies and processes
Check invoices sent from suppliers and service providers, raising and resolving any queries
Liaise with external benefits consultants and benefits providers to ensure monthly processes are executed in a timely and accurate manner
Responding to data enquiries in accordance with policy, drafting general letters using standard templates
Demonstrable background and experience in reward and benefits arena including; pension administration; job evaluation, benefit administration; Flexible Benefits; salary sacrifice; pay review; P11d reporting
Excellent/Strong excel knowledge and skills
Strong customer service skills
Experience of working collaboratively with various business units ensuring all activities are completed within established processes and procedures
Numerically agile with good data management skills
