Pertemps Glasgow is proud to be working with a leading technology company based in Renfrewshire area for the following role:

Commercial Business Analyst
32K - 35K depending on experience

Role Expectations

- To conduct and summarize complex data and business analyses to develop business plans, including revenue, margin and demand projections for Commercial business.
- Construct statistical and financial models with minimal direction to forecast future business performance.
- Define the metrics required to measure business performance, and compares actual data to forecasted values.
- Execute market research projects, gathers intelligence on current industry, technology, and consumer trends, and summarize research findings tailored to current business needs.
- To work with cross-functional teams to facilitate the data collection and performance measurement process, and escalate issues as necessary.
- Make contributions to research and analyses on priority projects within established guidelines.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative business models and analyses to contribute to large scale projects.
- To provide the Commercial Sales Manager all sales data to drive weekly sales funnel reviews.
- Provide ad hoc sales analysis when required.
- Providing quota deployment/quarterly business review.

Role requirements

- Previous experience in a similar analyst role.
- Extensive experience with data bases (oracle/SAP/business objects)
- Strong Knowledge of Excel, Access, Statistical analysis and financial modelling.
- Minimum of 2 years in sales account management, strategy & planning, operations, finance, or related functional areas.
- Strong background in analytical thinking with technical analysis and data manipulation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Proven experience in modelling/forecasting (revenue, sales, inventory, market projection).
