Telesales/Customer Service Assistant, Kettering

We currently have a temporary vacancy in the Telesales team for our Kettering client, working 35 hours per week on a term-time basis
State date: ASAP
End date: Up until Christmas (possibly longer)
About the role
Telesales Assistants are part of a team delivering a range of services to the Primary and Secondary Sales and Marketing divisions. The team provides support by tele-prospecting and email-prospecting to UK Primary and Secondary schools and speaking to key decision makers within these establishments. There is also a need to follow up product placements with further calling to offer discounts and close orders.
The team also provides support for after school events and school training, by calling schools to raise awareness and book places for teachers to attend workshops and training sessions.
The successful candidate will require the following:
Experience of a selling environment would be useful, but not essential
Excellent keyboard and administration skills
Knowledge of Word and Excel an advantage
Calm and professional manner
High level of self-motivation
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Previous experience within a customer service environment.
The hours of work will be:
Monday - Friday - 8.30 am - 4.30pm
Rate of pay £9.00 per hour
The successful candidate will be required to work well under pressure, with the minimum supervision whilst demonstrating a proactive approach to managing their call schedules and using their initiative
