Customer Facing Water Quality Scientist
We are looking for a customer services administrator with a strong a scientific background to work on an ongoing temporary basis for the UK's largest water and sewerage Company. This is a great opportunity for a candidate with a degree (or equivalent) in a scientific discipline who is interested in applying their expertise in customer services role within a fast-paced, demanding and high-profile team in Water Quality.
Paying £12.50 per hour and working 9 - 5 Monday to Friday in one of their offices in Reading, the successful candidate will be acting as the key interface between Water Operations and the Customer Centre. You will be responsible for dealing with complaints and enquiries from customers both in writing and over the telephone.
You will be required to:
Respond to customer complaints within set deadlines.
Arrange samples and network operations as required.
Carry out in depth investigations to resolve complaints, including the interpretation of laboratory data.
Monitor multiple complaints reports to identify water quality incidents and patterns
Work closely with colleagues in Operational groups to identify and resolve multiple complaints.
Maintain customer contact records to DWI auditable standard.
We are looking for a candidate with a scientific background, educated to degree level in a scientific discipline (good A-level qualifications may be considered) who will perhaps have applied their knowledge in a lab based or similar role in the past.
