Asset Damage Investigator

What is the purpose of this role?

We are currently looking for an Asset Damage Investigator to work for the UK's largest water and Sewerage Company on a temporary-ongoing basis with the strong possibility of becoming permanent.

The purpose of this role is to own the beginning to end process of identify & investigating the damage of our underground assets made from a third party. Working in the catchment area between Kingston-Upon-Thames, Guildford and Reading.

This role is based at Hockford Sewage Treatment Works (STW) in Woking, paying 17ph.


This role has been created in order to take responsibility of the damage an external person or company has made to our network of sewers within the catchment area.

You will be required to visit the damaged asset and investigate what's happened, who did it, the extent of damage and how much the damage will cost to fix.

In order to do this, you will need to collect evidence e.g. picture, samples, witness statements.

The end point will be once all necessary case management details have been completed and the case log is ready for legal representation.

As well as having a proactive approach, you will also be organised and have great attention to detail.

Due to the nature of this role, you will need a driving license and your own vehicle.
