I went to visit a good client of mine yesterday based in Zone 1. They are a medium sized building services consultancy who employ 25 staff in total and are looking to increase this to 50 within the next 12 months due to an increased work load.
The office is modern, open plan with a relaxed atmosphere headed up by a very approachable management team.
The main bulk of their larger projects are over seas in the Middle East and are currently working on a £1.2billion mixed-use development.
They also have a few new build tower blocks in the South East of England, some retail stores and ice rinks.
They are seeking a Graduate - Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer to work alongside the mechanical associate on a wide range of projects.
Whilst working beneath him, you will be developed and moulded into a successful design engineer who is fully competent in Hevacomp, Revit MEP and AutoCAD. As well as improving your skills with these, you will be trained in carrying out heat loss/gain calculations, pipe sizing calculations, pressure drop calculations, ductwork sizing calculations and radiator calculations. You will also be trained in full design of mechanical systems.
A BIT ABOUT YOU:
You must have 1 – 3 years design experience within a building services consultancy or M&E contractor.
You must be tech savvy, be intelligent and have innovative.
You must have a minimum of 3 months Revit MEP experience
You must be familiar with mechanical design and calculations
Competitive salary (£25k - £30k) depending on experience
Flexible working hours (40 hour week)
