“Hello, IT, have you tried turning it off and on again!?”

Are you the sort of person people come to when they need their phones sorted out? Do you know your Lenovo from your Linux?

My client, a new and rapidly growing company in Reading are looking for 2 tech-savvy helpdesk agents for their busy, flourishing team!

The company is involved in the payments industry and the helpdesk is there to support the company’s SME clients with their chip and pin devices throughout the UK.

The ideal candidate might have worked on a helpdesk before and needs to understand the basics of technical talk related to chip and pin devices (but we’re not looking for technical wizards!). The main skill involved with these roles are customer service skills delivered over the phone.

Appropriate candidates should be clear English-speakers (C2, native or similar level). A patient nature is essential, as well as being able to handle a large work-load. And competency in MS office is also essential. Any other experience of CRM systems, or other high-volume processing software packages would be a great advantage!

The shifts covered are 08:00 to 17:00 or 12:00 to 20:00, and you’ll work 1 day every 3 weekends (or so!) and the team are normally able to switch shifts accordingly, they’re a good bunch!

If this roles sounds like it could be for you, apply here, or phone/e-mail Ash Wells at Pertemps Reading Commercial today! The job reference is AW/304605/P FYI ;)

Pertemps is an equal opportunity employer. Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction. Due to the high volume of applications we receive it is not always possible to respond to unsuccessful applicants. Therefore if we have not responded to your application within five days please assume that on this occasion your application has not been successful.
