SEND TA – North Birmingham

The Education Network Are Currently Working With A  'split-site', Part Residential School SEND School Supporting And Educating Students Who Present With Social, Emotional And/or  Mental Health Needs.

The school secured a ‘GOOD’ rating in last educational Ofsted inspection

The school are seeking a SEN teaching assistant to start immediately and work on a 1:1 basis with a girl in YR9  with severe emotional behavioural difficulties. The school itself is an Ofsted ‘good’  school and has been awarded teaching schools status which means they can offer strong support and professional development.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have experience working with disengaged students and those with behavioural challenges. You will need to be confident in your approach to behaviour and have an empathetic approach with the student and hold a Level 3 or above qualification.


You must have previous experience as a SEN TA specifically working within a secondary school. You must have recent experience working with students with challenging behaviour. You must have a valid DBS and be available to work full time 5 days a week. You must also be available for an immediate start.
